  • General dentistry
  • Regional and rural dental care
  • Professional leadership

Dr Tim Crofts graduated in Dentistry from The University of Western Australia in 1991 after growing up in Perth and attending Trinity College. He began his career in Derby, where he provided dental care to local residents, Aboriginal communities, FIFO workers and schools throughout the Kimberley before returning to Perth to work in the public dental system. He later gained valuable experience in both NHS and private dental practices in the United Kingdom before returning to Western Australia in 1997.

After working at Perth Dental Hospital and the Swan Districts Dental Clinic, Dr Crofts returned to regional practice in 1999, joining a private practice in Collie where he remained for 10 years. In 2008, he moved to Australind Dental Centre, and in 2010 the practice relocated to its current modern premises, allowing it to expand and better serve the growing community. He also continued providing general anaesthetic dental services at Collie District Hospital until 2018.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Crofts has played an active leadership role within the profession through the South West Dental Convocation and the Australian Dental Association WA Branch, where he currently serves as President. His contributions have been recognised with Fellowships from the International College of Dentists, the Academy of Dentistry International and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
